WAYNE MCBRIDE

Assistant Pro Wayne McBride is a 46 year veteran of the BGC Pro Shop. Wayne began his career in 1959 (by coincidence the same year our present Pro was born) as Caddy Master. He has been a fixture in our shop ever since, helping successive Golf Pros with back shop matters, repairs, sales and most importantly teaching our members with great dignity and professionalism.

CLAUDE PESANT

Claude Pesant was born in Montreal and lived here until he was 18 years of age. He became a member of Rosemere Golf Club when he was 12 years old and had his first golf lesson with the great Adrien Bigras. Claude then went on to Jacksonville University in Florida where he played on the golf team while earning a Bachelor degree in Marketing and Management. He played the mini golf tour in Florida for two years and decided to pursue a career back in Canada as an Assistant Golf Pro.

Claude's first job was with his sponsor Adrien Bigras at Le Manoir. He also worked at Hawkesbury with Jack Taylor and at Laval sur-le-Lac for many years. Later, he became Head Golf Pro at Lachute and St-Lambert.

Claude has been working at Beaconsfield with Don Hachey for 7 years and has become a full-time Golf Teacher. He is the father of two beautiful children. During the winter, Claude teaches at the Dome in Kirkland and does golf landscapes as a Golf Artist. He says "Oil painting is something that I have always done since I was 10 years of age and is something that I want to pursue in the future".

BRENT LECRAW

Brent LeCraw, 30, is a graduate of Concordia's John Molson School of Business. He is entering his fourth year as a professional and his third year as an Assistant Professional here at Beaconsfield. Over the winter, Brent spent two months in Florida working on his game and hopes to be competitive this summer as he represents Beaconsfield on the Ben Hogan Circuit. Brent loves to play and practice so he welcomes anyone wishing to improve their game to sign up for a lesson on the range or a game on the course.

DOMINIC RACINE

Dominic enthusiastically returned to Beaconsfield last season after two years as head teaching professional at Golf Town St. Hubert and Golf Cité Nun's Island. During this time, Dominic became a class A CPGA professional with a level 5 teaching certificate. He also worked on the organizing committee for the 2004 and 2005 Montreal Open (a Canadian Tour event).
Before arriving at Beaconsfield Golf Club in 2001, Dominic worked as an assistant professional at Owl's Head Golf Club and Brossard Golf Club. He attended Northeastern University in Boston and played on their Division 1 golf team. He then attended Concordia University graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance degree.
Dominic has competed at a high amateur level, participating in several Canadian Championships and provincial matches. He shares the low score at Beaconsfield Golf Club and is working towards his first professional win this year on the Bud Light Quebec Professional Tour.
Dominis is looking forward to providing quality instruction to members, through private lessons and clinics, and also participating in the Junior program.
