The Beaconsfield Golf Club Championship Cup
Origin:
The Championship Cup dates from the first year of the Club's operation, 1904. It is the oldest trophy available for competition among the members.
The unique design of this beautiful trophy is enhanced by the mounting of the three natural stag handles on the slender, sterling silver Cup.
Competition:
With the exception of the years during World War I, the Club Championship Cup has been competed for annually since 1904.
First recorded winner was W.B. Strachan, 1904.
Winner of the Beaconsfield Golf Club Championship Cup in 1978 was D.C. Ross. |
