The War Memorial Trophy
Origin:
Presented by members of the Club in 1947 in honour of those who served in the armed forces, some of whom gave their lives in World War II.
Competition:
Annual competition open to male intermediate members — low gross.
First winner in 1947 was C.J.H. Doscher.
Winner in 1978 was John Chippendale. |
